Pennsylvania State Camp Association Mission Statement

 

The mission of the Pennsylvania State Camp Lessee's Association is to represent its members pertaining to any and all issues involving owners/associates, state agencies, local governments, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), private businesses, etc.

To include the following:

  • Established and maintain working relationships
  • The establishment and implementation of "Common Sense" rules and regulations
    based upon principles designed to protect and promote long-standing traditional camp values
  • Protection of financial interests
  • The promotion of Pennsylvania's history of outdoor heritage, which includes state lease camps
  • A "common sense" approach to fulfilling our mission and reaching and maintaining our goals

As owners of State Forest lands, we have a vested personal and financial interest associated with camp life. it is essential to protect our past, current, and future freedoms and to ensure enacted government rules and regulations are within sensible and fair guidelines.

Pennsylvania's State Camp owners/associates proudly support, conservation, wildlife preservation, environmental protection, and enjoying our great outdoors with family and friends.
